What is free vs paid?
Free forever: save & parse articles, clean reader view, manual tags and collections, Edge text-to-speech, offline reading, keyword search, the curated Discover feed.
Pro: AI summaries, auto-tagging, semantic search, the Ask feature, OpenAI premium voices, and higher save/storage limits.
How much does it cost?
Readit is free during beta — every feature including AI is open to all signed-in users. A paid Pro tier will land once we know what people actually use.
Can you read paywalled articles?
Only what the publisher serves to a public browser session. If a page requires login or is behind a hard paywall, Readit can't bypass it.
Does Readit work offline?
Yes. Open an article online once; it's cached locally and will read + play back offline. Your streak and saves sync when you reconnect.
How do I export my data?
Settings → Data & Account → Export my data. You get a JSON file with everything we hold about you: articles, tags, collections, reading events, preferences.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Data & Account → Delete my account. This wipes all your articles, tags, collections, and the account itself. Cannot be undone.
What's the daily save limit?
Free: 20 articles/day. Pro: 200/day. Limits reset at midnight UTC. If you hit them regularly, upgrade or let us know.
